Sereact Raises $110 Million for a Software-First Robot Brain

Sereact, a Stuttgart-based AI robotics software company, raised a $110 million Series B led by Headline in April. Bullhound Capital, Felix Capital and Daphni joined as new investors, with existing backers also taking part. The valuation was not disclosed. The round is more than four times its €25 million Series A of January 2025.
Founded in 2021 by Ralf Gulde and Marc Tuscher, both former AI researchers at the University of Stuttgart, Sereact takes a software-first approach rather than building its own hardware. It develops vision-language-action models that combine vision, language understanding and action planning, so robots act on the situation rather than follow rigidly programmed sequences. One example is a robot judging whether its planned grip would damage a fragile object before the gripper closes.
The Next Web’s coverage cites estimates that put the humanoid robot market at under $1 billion in 2023 and above $38 billion by 2030; Sereact’s own focus is logistics, manufacturing and humanoid platforms. Its customers include BMW Group and Daimler Truck, described as production deployments rather than pilots, plus Bol, MS Direct and Active Ants. The money will go to its core model and to scaling deployment.
