Revolut’s Valuation Rises 53% to $115 Billion in a Secondary Share Sale

Revolut’s valuation has risen 53% to $115 billion in a new share sale, TechCrunch reported on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The sale was a secondary transaction, meaning existing investors sold shares, and TechCrunch says it “brought no new money into Revolut.”
The share sale
The London-based fintech was valued at $115 billion, 53% above its valuation in a share sale a year earlier, according to TechCrunch, which does not state the earlier figure. The investors it names are Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates and Baillie Gifford. TechCrunch says Revolut declined to say how much stock was sold.
Company figures in the report
- Revolut was started in 2015 by Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko as a money-transfer app and is now a financial services platform.
- It has more than 80 million retail customers in over 40 countries.
- TechCrunch says it operates banks across Europe, launched banks in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand in 2026, holds banking licenses in France, Colombia and Argentina, and began rolling out services in India earlier in 2026.
- Revenue in 2025 was $6 billion, with a profit margin of 38%, according to the report.
US bank plans
Revolut has received conditional approval from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to set up a national bank, per TechCrunch, which cites a Reuters report of September 3, 2026. The company plans to launch in the first half of 2027, “subject to final regulatory approval.”
Revolut Business
James Gibson, head of Revolut Business and a partner at the company, told TechCrunch that the division, launched in 2017, accounts for about 20% of Revolut’s gross profit. TechCrunch also reports company figures: more than £36 billion (about $48.6 billion) in transactions processed monthly, including more than £1 billion (about $1.35 billion) in the US; more than £950 million (about $1.28 billion) in annualized revenue; more than £18 billion (about $24.3 billion) in customer deposits; and more than 800,000 business customers, with a goal of one million by 2027. The company says nearly half of its new US business customers are newly incorporated companies. Gibson said Revolut plans to expand business banking to Mexico, Brazil and India but gave no timeline.
Public listing
TechCrunch reports that Revolut is weighing a public listing and that Storonsky has considered a dual listing in New York and London while preferring a primary US listing. It says an IPO could value Revolut at $200 billion, no earlier than 2028 and depending on market conditions, citing its own report of April 21, 2026.
