No official release date exists for Alibaba’s Qwen4. A remark reported from an Apsara Conference attendee in Amsterdam on October 29 points to a launch between November 2 and 8, but the date appears on no Alibaba or Qwen team channel.

The closest available model is Qwen3.8-Flash, which the Qwen team presents as a preview of the Qwen4 architecture. Lens is treating the date as an unconfirmed rumor.
