Humanoid Becomes Europe’s First Pure-Play Humanoid Unicorn With a $152 Million Series A

Humanoid, a UK-based robotics company, announced a $152 million Series A on July 22 at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation, bringing its total funding to $270 million. Prime Movers Lab led, with Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures participating.
Founder and chief executive Artem Sokolov said that “in just two years” the company had gone from an idea to Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. It builds robots for logistics, manufacturing and retail, with a proprietary AI system it calls KinetIQ.
Schaeffler is both an investor and a customer, and the company describes the commercial agreement, which covers thousands of humanoid robots for manufacturing, as the largest publicly announced in the industry. It also names SAP, Nvidia, Bosch and Siemens as partners, without detailing those deals. Beta robots are due at customer sites in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by mass manufacturing of wheeled humanoids.
Prime Movers Lab’s Zia Huque said he expects the field to consolidate around a handful of category leaders across the United States, Europe and China.
