Huawei launched its Mate 90 series in early October, with the Kirin 9050 Pro as its top chip, according to Huawei’s press release.

Digitimes reports that the Kirin 9050 series is in mass production using LogicFolding, a 3D chip architecture. Huawei’s consumer chief has described the earlier Kirin 9030 as the peak of its planar chip design.

Separately, Huawei’s Enjoy 100 lineup went on sale on October 31 with Kirin 8000S, 9020A and 9020 chips, starting at 1,399 yuan.
