Apptronik announced on February 11, 2026, that it had reopened its Series A, bringing the total raised in the round to $935 million. The company did not disclose a valuation; TechCrunch reported a post-money valuation of about $5.3 billion.

The Series A began in February 2025 at $350 million and grew to $415 million. Apptronik then added $520 million from existing investors Google, Mercedes-Benz and B Capital, plus new backers. PitchBook put the valuation of the original round at about $1.75 billion, so the valuation has roughly tripled. Apptronik says it was not actively seeking funding and was responding to inbound interest.

The University of Texas spinout builds a humanoid called Apollo for warehouse and industrial work such as offloading trailers, stocking inventory and operating machinery. Its roots go back to a UT team’s entry in the NASA-DARPA Robotics Challenge, and NASA remains a partner, alongside Google DeepMind, GXO and Mercedes-Benz.

TechCrunch’s article gives no product dates or details on how the new money will be used. Rival Figure AI had raised nearly $2 billion since 2022 before announcing a further $1 billion round in fall 2025.
